      I don’t think so – I find it hard to believe that there are no other life forms anywhere else in the universe! That said, I don’t think there are humans elsewhere in the universe, more likely very simple forms of life like single celled organisms.

      With the development of new telescopes scientists are discovering more and more planets orbiting suns in different galaxies. A lot of these planets are in what is called “the Habitable zone” this means they are not too close or too far away from their sun so that could have liquid water, rather than as steam or ice. We think that life (as we know it) needs liquid water.
      Therefore it seems very likely that there is life on other planets, there may even be other life in our solar system as Europa (one of Jupiter’s Moons) may have liquid water.

      So yes there is probably life elsewhere but the chances of that life being intelligent or anything more complex than say bacteria (or only made up of a single cell) are much less.
