I would reccomend the type of science you are most interested in!
I started university to study chemistry but realized I didn’t enjoy it as much as in school as it got very complicated and theoretical so I switched to nutrition which is human biology basically and I enjoyed it so much more
I agree with Morwenna! Science can be so varied, so it definitely helps to be interested in a subject first. Perhaps think what subject at school you enjoy the most; chemistry, physics, biology or maths? Then you can explore different areas/ specialisms within that branch of science!
Whatever is most exciting to you! I liked Biology and Chemistry at school so I picked an area of science that combined the two. There are so many areas of science that there will definitely be at least one that interests you – I’m still discovering new areas of science now that I haven’t heard of before. I think it’d great to be in an area of science that combines more than one subject because it means you get to work with lots of different people that all have different skills too.
