I think my best idea must of been deciding to do my placement year at university. It involved taking a year out of my course after finishing my 2nd year to do a 12-month work placement – I did mine in a pharmaceutical company. My placement required me to move away from home and boyfriend and meant when I came back to do my final year at university I would be in the joining the classes as the year below me so wouldn’t know anyone.
However I am so glad I took the leap and did it as it inspired me to pursue my career today!

You mean apart from the one to enter this Competition?

      What a tough question. Hmmmmmmmm………….

Well in terms of my life It would have to be deciding to marry my wife and having two lovely children.

      In terms of science
My best idea would have to be to using tiny light loggers on leopard seals so that we could follow their movements for over a year. It was amazing to see where they went and has given it some really useful information that will help us conserve these animals.

Oo good question! I think my best idea was going to uni – I met some of my best friends there, I met my boyfriend who I’ve now lived with for 6 years, and I figured out what I wanted to do with my career.
