• Question: what types of seals and polar bears have you seen

      Sadly I have never seen a Polar Bear as they live in the Arctic and I have not been lucky enough to go to the areas where they are (I am jealous of my wife who has!)
      I have seen lots of different types of seal including
      Antarctic fur seals that I do most of my work with, Elephant seals, Leopard seals, Crabeater and Weddell seals, Southern sea lions, Southern fur seals, New Zealand fur seals, Hooker’s sea lions and Northern Fur seals.
      Gosh It does seem a lot when you write them all down like that.

      Ones I have not seen but would love to are Walruses (that live in the Arctic) and Ross seals that are quite rare.
