My family and now fiance – he was living with me whilst I studied at university so was a much needed support system when I was spending late nights working on coursework.

My Mum and Dad, my boyfriend and my friends. Like Emma I lived with my partner throughout my university studies and I was doing a lot of work that meant I needed him to pick up the slack. My Mum and Dad have always been really supportive too – buying me books or taking me to the library to get books out that were related to science, helping me move into university accommodation and always being interested in what I’m doing. Neither of them are scientists so they think what I do is really cool too which is a nice boost 🙂 My friend have been super helpful as well – lots of my friends did the same course at university as I did so we were able to help each other doing revision and stuff which made things a lot easier.
