      Yes, I have two children aged 7 and 5. They keep me and my wife very busy.
      Having to go to the Antarctic for long periods of time can be very hard nowadays as I really miss them. In some places where I work, I can still talk with them and if I am lucky facetime/skype. However often when I am camping it is very hard to communicate with limited use of a satellite phone or just occasional email.

      Yes, I have three children aged 26, 23 and 21. I’m proud of everything they have achieved although none of them turned out to be a scientist. I think it’s because I read books out aloud to them on archaeology, evolution and chemistry when they were growing up instead of We’re Going on a Bear Hunt……
