Oh yes I vaguely remember doing some lessons on volcanoes at school! Volcanoes were mainly covered in my geography lessons were we learned about tectonic plates and famous eruptions that have occurred. I do recall having to make a model of a volcano once as a school project, using bicarbonate of soda and vinegar to mimic an eruption! This experiment is all about chemical reactions. The combination of baking soda and vinegar creates a fizzy overflow, which makes carbon dioxide turn into gas.
Unfortunately my current work means I won’t be studying volcanoes again any time soon, unless on the rare off chance a volcanic eruption occurs that impacts one of the clinical sites where one of my clinical trials may be running!
