      Hi again Hayden,
      I would really like to expand a project on human remains that I did a few years ago. We demonstrated, in Roman burials in the UK, that exotic substances such as frankincense was used as part of the funerary process, perhaps poured or sprinkled over the body before burial – we identified surviving traces chemically. I would really like to expand this project to study many more burials from across the Roman Empire to see how widespread this funerary ritual was.
