      Did you know that some people still think the world is flat and that we are all victim to a giant conspiracy theory about the world being round? They are known as “Britain’s Flat Earthers” and this year they had their first very convention about the subject!

      We know the earth is not flat and is roughly a sphere. What I have always found amazing is that we knew this long before we could blast into space and look at it. Over 2,000 years ago Aristotle
      noticed that you saw different stars depending on where in the world you were. Another Greek mathematician even managed measure the size of the earth in 276 BC!
      Science is amazing!

      There are still people that think that the world is flat, but it’s definitely not – it’s a sphere shape, like a ball.
