Question: What are your tips for travelling and what are the best things to look out for?

My biggest tip would be not to plan too much! I used to do loads of research before I went anywhere because I didn’t want to miss anything out. Since I’ve got the opportunity to travel more with work, I’ve relaxed a lot more and find that having a vague idea of what you want to see and do is more than enough. I much prefer asking locals what they recommend, taxi drivers and hotel staff often give the best recommendations. I’ve found lots of less touristy places that are usually quieter and cheaper that way. In terms of things to look out for, I love a freebie! I always try to get to museums, galleries etc that have free entry, and then ask the people that work there where is good to go nearby. That way you tend to find some hidden gems 🙂
