I think this is one question that the film and TV industry seems to have taken a great interest in lately, there are lots of films based on how the world ends be it zombie apocalypses, deadly viral outbreaks or the human race leaving to other planets! One film that I particularly related to and aligns with my imagination of how the world may end one day is “The Day After Tomorrow”. In this 2004 film, there is a sudden global storm that plunges the world into a new Ice Age.
Theory has it that it was an Ice Age that wiped out the dinosaurs and they were supposedly around a pretty long time before that, and they are a lot bigger than us humans! So if an Ice Age was able to wipe out that whole species before, I think it could of course wipe us out if it ever happened again…
However that is IF it happens, which I can’t say I have any theory behind WHEN that may be although I hope that if it does it will be in a very long time from now and hopefully something I will never have to experience in my lifetime!

I am not sure the world is coming to an end just yet but if as humans keep polluting the atmosphere and oceans, using up the resources like fossil fuels then we might make it impossible for us to live on the earth.
Things often reach a tipping point, that is a point when the system, such as currents in the ocean or air temperatures, instead of slowly changing undergo a catastrophic change. If this happens we could be in trouble.
But don’t panic there is still time and hopefully we will get better at looking after our precious planet

This is a difficult question.. It depends what you mean by the world coming to an end – if you mean the Earth just not being there anymore, I don’t think that will happen. If you mean that humans aren’t able to live on the Earth any more, then I do think that could happen, but not any time soon, and I don’t think it will be a sudden thing either.
A lot of TV shows and documentaries like ‘Blue Planet’ and ‘Drowning in Plastic’ have drawn attention to the problems of pollution, and I think that pollution and over use of plastics and fossil fuels is having a really bad impact on the planet. I hope that scientists are able to design and create ways to help us reduce our use of plastics, and that we have time to make these changes on a big scale.

Climate change and pollution are deeply concerning but we still have a chance to take action. Governments need to listen to scientists more about the challenges. It’s not too late but the rich and powerful countries need to take more action.
