Oooh, good question! If the Earth suddenly stopped spinning, I think we’d be in pretty big trouble.. I did some research on this and realised that if the planet stopped, that doesn’t mean that everything on the Earth would stop spinning. It’d be like when you’re in the car and something is suddenly in the middle of the road so you have to stop super quickly – the things that are in the car, you, your school bag, bottles of water etc all keep moving for a little while. If the planet put the breaks on, the same thing would happen with buildings and cars and everything else in the world, just at a must faster pace!

I’ve not really thought about this before, but found this website that had some interesting ideas on this: https://www.sciencefocus.com/planet-earth/the-thought-experiment-what-would-happen-if-the-earth-stopped-spinning/

Having read a few things on this I really hope it does not happen!
Most of all because as the earth is spinning at nearly 1000 miles per hour that is a bit to fast for me to have to do on my own.
I quite like how things are now 24 hours in a day feels about right to me
